MHS Chiefs Foundation launches scholarships

The MHS Chiefs Foundation Inc – established in 2022 as a 501c3 public charity - has launched a new website (www.mhscf.org) and two scholarship opportunities for Class of 2023 McIntosh High students.

The MHS Chiefs Foundation Board of Directors is offering a $1000 scholarship and Mike Holmes, of Chick-fil-A, is offering a $500 Chick-fil-A 2nd Mile scholarship through the foundation. Applications for both scholarships may be found at mhscf.org and will be accepted through March 31, 2023. The scholarship awards will be announced at honors night.

The Foundation’s mission is to complement the endeavors of McIntosh High in developing, improving, supporting, promoting, and sustaining the enrichment and enhancement of educational opportunities and programs for all MHS students. The foundation will award scholarships for post-secondary studies to deserving students who embody traits including academic achievement, diligence, responsibility, sustained school and community involvement, selflessness, and a positive attitude. Funds will be raised through donations and sponsored events.
