For the second consecutive year, persons attending the Balloons Over Fayette festival this summer will see T-shirts and other marketing material featuring artwork designed by a McIntosh High graphic arts student.
Lila Hacklander was one of many students who entered the Balloons Over Fayette T-Shirt Design Contest that was sponsored by the Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department. The design features the cityscape of downtown Fayetteville with the words “Balloons Over Fayette” with hot air balloons replacing the two o’s in the word “balloon.”
She and her family will receive free admission to the event, free T-shirts featuring her design, and backstage passes to meet the national recording artists who will perform.
