Updated After School Information: Lottery Drawing Announced for Limited Openings

Due to a staffing shortage, there are a limited number of spaces available this fall in the Fayette County Public Schools After School Program.

Families who pre-registered in the spring have a reserved space.

To provide the most equitable opportunity for all families, parents who did not pre-register can sign up their students for a lottery drawing for available spaces during their school's Meet the Teacher day on Thursday, July 29 from 4-6 p.m.

Immediately following the close of Meet the Teacher, lottery numbers will be drawn until spaces are filled. Students’ numbers that are not drawn will have their names placed on a waiting list. Lottery numbers will continue to be drawn to determine the order names are placed on the list.

The after school program needs caring individuals who enjoy working with elementary-aged children to join their team.
