Compete in the Kid’s Marathon Finish

Get active with the Kid’s Marathon Finish. A part of the Peachtree City Rotary Club’s Elementary Grand Prix Race series, the Kid’s Marathon Finish (KMF) on October 16 builds on healthy habits formed with school running clubs.

Every morning at schools around the county, students start their day off with a bang by participating in running clubs. They burn off a bit of excess energy to better focus for the day, and now they can put that training to the test at the KMF as part of the Peachtree City Classic Road Race.

In order to participate in KMF, students must have compiled a minimum of 25 miles as part of an organized running program at their school before the October 15 deadline. Along the way, runners earn incentive awards for each mile milestone. Once they accumulate 25 miles, they receive a personalized invitation to run the last 1.2 miles of the official marathon on race day at the Peachtree City Classic Road Race.

Finishers receive a commemorative race shirt and a special commemorative medal given only to kids who completed all requirements and finished the “Kid’s Marathon” on race day.

Don’t miss out on your chance to compete in the Kid’s Marathon Finish, contact your school’s running club and get moving today!
