The Tiger Battalion did it again. The Fayette County High Army JROTC drill team won their 11th Area 12 region championship in a meet at Putnam County High.
The Tigers won 1st place in five disciplines: Unarmed Platoon, commanded by Briyana Wheeler; Regulation Unarmed Squad, commanded by Nag Vishal; Regulation Color Guard, commanded by Joshua Achiu; Regulation Armed Platoon, commanded by Achiu; and Female Unarmed, commanded by Kamren Madison.
They and took 2nd place in Female Color Guard, commanded by Morgan Wucher, and 3rd place in Regulation Armed Squad, commanded by Achiu.
Next up, the drill team will compete in the state drill meet.
