Fayette County Public Schools is getting the community reading. The #FayetteReads mobile library is back this summer bringing free books to children around the county.
The program expanded to seven scheduled stops this summer, with visits to Fayetteville, Peachtree City, and Tyrone. Volunteers with the school district load up in the bus to help children pick out new books to take home. The goal is to offer an accessible selection of books that fosters a strong reading culture across the community.
