Sara Harp Minter Elementary Nutrition Manager Receives Coveted Award for Excellence

The school system’s nutrition staff nominated and voted on the individual they felt was the most qualified for the award, and best exemplified reliability, dedication, a hard work ethic, and positive attitude. School Nutrition Director Kokeeta Wilder says Betsill exudes all of these qualities and more. Betsill has worked for the school system for 7 years.
 
“We are proud of her and appreciate her years of service,” says Wilder.
 
Named in honor of the district’s longest serving school nutrition director (22 years) who lost her battle with cancer in January 2007, the Cheryl Calhoun Award recognizes nutrition managers who exemplify the professional qualities demonstrated by Calhoun: dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.
