Dolphins are lovin’ McTeacher’s Night
The Dolphins made a splash under the Golden Arches when the North Fayette Elementary community teamed up with McDonald’s for a school fundraiser.
The McDonald’s at 465 N. Glynn St. in Fayetteville reached out to the school about partnering on a fundraising McTeacher’s Night. The North Fayette PTO spearheaded the connection with faculty, staff, administration, and school volunteers chipping in.
Over the span of three hours, volunteers were able to work various stations for a one-hour shift. Stations included the front counter, greeters, the drive-through window, ice cream machine, and fries.
Principal David McBride even joined in the fun.
“I personally enjoyed being at the counter and running food to customers. It was a great experience to interact with everyone in a different setting.”
McBride thanked the North Fayette PTO and PTO President Jazmine Smith for their hard work in organizing the event.
“They continue to go above and beyond in supporting our school, and, for that, we are truly grateful,” he said.
“The turnout was incredible, and it was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces come out to support our students, PTO, and faculty. It truly shows the strength of our community and the commitment we all have to the success of our school.”
