Parenting Education

Fayette County Schools is committed to providing families with a variety of support services to ensure that all students are healthy, secure, and ready to learn. We know that parents are a child’s first teacher and what children experience at home can prepare them for great experiences at school. Here you will find helpful parenting education tips and resources. If you have questions, please send an email message to parenting@fcboe.org.

We currently offer three choices of parenting education. You can attend all three or just one or two:

• STEP Systematic Training for Effective Parenting is an 8-week class, offered virtually in fall and in spring.
• Parenting the Love and Logic Way ® is a 6-session in-person class offered in the summer, fall and spring.
• No time for classes? See below for Self-Guided Parenting Education, which you can read on your own time.
