  • Amanda Cavin, Principal

    Amanda Cavin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education/Special Education from Samford University and a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Georgia. She earned her Specialist in Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College and her Tier II Leadership Certification from Georgia State University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Georgia.

    Cavin’s journey in education began with the Clayton County Board of Education for one year. She then worked with the Henry County Board of Education from 2004-2018 at Unity Grove Elementary, first as a teacher, then as an assistant principal. During the 2018-2019 school year, she was an assistant principal at Austin Road Elementary. Beginning in July 2019, Cavin served as the principal at Ola Elementary.  She began her leadership work in Fayette County when she was chosen as principal at Peachtree City Elementary in 2023. Ms. Cavin is excited to continue the tradition of excellence at Peachtree City Elementary School!

     

    Jodii Gorski, Assistant Principal

    Jodii Gorski earned a bachelor of arts in psychology at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania and completed a master's degree in post secondary education through Troy University.  She became certified in leadership through the University of West Georgia in 2023 and began her administrative career as our assistant principal at PCES in 2023.

    A veteran educator with nearly 20 years of experience, Ms. Gorski was chosen as a finalist for Fayette County Teacher of the Year in 2022. Ms. Gorski is excited to be part of the Panther Pride at PCES!
