  • Leaf  School Nutrition Shakes It Up

The Georgia Department of Education- School Nutrition Team has launched a state-wide initiative to enhance the flavor of school meals and imporve the perception of Georgia School Nutrition Programs called "Shake It Up." Here is a video about the initiative. Fayette County School Nutrition has been challenged to take the "Shake It Up" Pledge. School Nutrition has applied Fayette County for the Gold Commitment. This commitment requires excellent customer service, requires us to provide health fruits and vegetables, improve food quality, and showcase Georgia Grown food items on the menu.
