Three Elementary Schools Named Title I Rewards School for Georgia
North Fayette Elementary, Cleveland Elementary and Inman Elementary schools are among the 245 Georgia Title I schools that made the Title I Reward Schools list for 2017 based on test score data from 2013-2015, according to information released from the Georgia Department of Education.
North Fayette Elementary made the list for a second time as a “High-Progress School” after making the list for the first time in 2015. High-Progress Schools are among the 10 percent of the state’s Title I schools making the most progress in improving the performance of the “all students” group over three years on statewide assessments. Only 164 schools made the cut.
Cleveland Elementary made the list for the first time as a “Highest-Performing School.” Inman Elementary also made the list in the same category for the fourth time. Inman was a “Highest-Performing School” in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Schools in this category are among the five percent of the state’s Title I schools with the absolute highest performance, over three years, for the “all students” group on statewide assessments. Only 81 schools made the list in this category.
