Welcome

Hello Fayetteville Elementary Community, 

My name is Genise Jackson, and I am excited to join the team of educators supporting a successful school year for your scholars. Wife and mother of two, I have resided in McDonough, GA for thirteen years. I am an alumna of the University of Georgia where I obtained my master’s degree in professional school counseling, and Georgia State University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology. Last year I was honored to serve two elementary schools in Henry County, and prior to that I was the proud school counselor of North Fayette Elementary for six years.

As a school counselor, I will meet with students individually by request and facilitate small group counseling throughout the school year. In addition, I will provide monthly classroom lessons. During the first lesson I will introduce myself to students and explain my role as their school counselor. I am dedicated to supporting students’ social/emotional, career, and academic development.
