How to Use This Site

  • This site was designed for optimal use on PCs running Windows and using a high-speed connection.  It has been tested in the most popular browsers and should work well with all modern browsers and as well as mobile devices. Some features of this website may not function properly with older browsers or you may have to adjust your browser settings.

     

    Downloading Files

    Most files available for download on this site were created in Adobe Portable Document Format and will be indicated by the appearance of the Adobe PDF Document icon or the letters (PDF) next to their name.  These documents require the Adobe Reader software in order to be able to read them.  This software is available to any user FREE from the Adobe website.  Click here to be directed to the Adobe Reader download page.

    Depending upon your connection speed (dialup, DSL, cable or otherwise), download times may range from several seconds to several minutes.

     

    Navigating Through Our Site

    A handy search bar appears on every page of our site, allowing the user to search for the information they are seeking.  Boolean search is also supported to allow you to limit, widen or define your search.

    The navigation bar to the left appears on every page of this website and will allow you to move freely throughout the entire site.  This navigation bar was designed to work in Internet Explorer 9+.

    Additionally, the drop-down navigation bar running across the top of this page appears on nearly every page, affording the same ease of navigation.

    A link back to our Home Page appears on every page.

    In cases where hyperlinks appear, every effort has been made to keep the user on this website.  Links to external websites will appear in a new window, giving the user the option of continuing on to that site, or reading the information without leaving fcboe.org.
