Welcome to Peachtree City Elementary School – home of the Panthers. I hope that you will consider becoming an integral part of the Peachtree City Elementary School family for this school year.

The staff will provide a challenging academic curriculum in a safe and supportive environment where all children can succeed. Your child will be involved in a variety of educational experiences in the areas of reading, language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, art, music, physical education, and technology. The curriculum is designed to address the needs of all children, whether there is a need for enrichment or remediation.

I want each of you to feel welcome and needed as we work together to reach common goals. Our program is what it is because of a dedicated staff and a community that concentrates on the processes that spur continuing advancement – evaluating what we have, determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we need to make those improvements. Your interest in our program is vital. I encourage you to get involved in your child’s education by helping with homework, encouraging reading, volunteering at school, attending parent/teacher conferences, and supporting PTO.

    Stacie Coppola, Assistant Principal

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of Peachtree City Elementary School.  With over seventeen years of educational experience, I look forward to continuing my career in education as a PCES Panther!  My administrative experience has been shaped by four years of successful leadership in both Gwinnett and Fayette counties.  Prior to my role as a leader I was a Math and Literacy Instructional Coach as well as a Special Education teacher for 12 years.  When I first began my teaching career, I spent a year as a 3rd grade teacher at a small Charter School.  I was born and raised in Florida and taught there for 7 years before moving to Georgia in 2007.  I am elated to bring my skills as a leader to PCES and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

Along with staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success at PCES. Through strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners we will support our students to reach their full potential.  We will focus on character education, fostering a nurturing and safe environment, and providing exciting and challenging academic opportunities for all students.

I anticipate a most successful year as we work together to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child here at Peachtree City Elementary School.

As the Assistant Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this the best year yet!

I look forward to working with you and your child!
