The East Point/College Park Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of our Presidential and Torch of Wisdom Scholarships for graduating African American female and male high school seniors. Applicants in all scholarship categories must meet the minimum cumulative GPA requirement (2.5 on a 4.0 scale). The Torch of Wisdom Scholarship is for first-generation college students (no immediate family member has graduated from college). One (1) scholarship in the amount of $25,000 and one (1) scholarship in the amount of $12,500 will be awarded. Students applying for this scholarship will need to submit their FAFSA, verification of first-generation college student status from their counselor and participate in an interview. Students applying for this scholarship may also apply for one of the Presidential Scholarships. Please note, students will not be awarded both the Torch of Wisdom and a Presidential Scholarship.
