Basketball Cheerleader Tryouts - Nov. 6-8, 4:15-6:15pm
Basketball Cheerleader Tryouts will be held November 6, 7 and 8 from 4:15 - 6:15 in the LEC gym. Packets will be ready for pick-up by October 25.
MANDATORY Dual Enrollment Information Meetings for 2018-2019
The Fayette County Board of Education has scheduled the district level 2018-2019 MANDATORY Student/Parent Information sessions for students interested in participating in the Dual Enrollment program next school year. All of the meetings will begin at 6:30 pm, and then there will be an opportunity for the students/parents to speak with the colleges around 7:15pm- 8pm. The dates are listed below. Please know that parents and students are only required to attend ONE meeting and both a parent and student must sign-in at ONE meeting to be able to participate in the Dual Enrollment program for the 2018-2019 school year. These dates are given well in advance so families can plan accordingly.
Students can now sign up for credit recovery. The cost for each class is $75 cash and you will need to see your counselor to pick up a credit recovery contract. Once payment and contract has been submitted you will be scheduled for a mandatory orientation prior to starting your course.
ESPLOST VOTING BEGINS OCTOBER 16!
A special county wide election for the continuation of the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST) will take place November 7, 2017. The purpose of ESPLOST is to fund capital projects for educational purposes.
Early voting runs October 16 through November 3, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Election and voting location information can be found on the Fayette County government website at http://www.fayettecountyga.gov/elections/index.htm.
