• Pre-Collegiate Summer Institute at UGA
    The University of Georgia (UGA) is looking for high-achieving current high school Juniors from diverse backgrounds, for a new summer program in the UGA College of Public Health!

    The program is called the Pre-Collegiate Summer Institute (PCSI) and is a one-week experience for students interested in attending the University of Georgia and majoring in a health, medicine, or science discipline. PCSI will take place this summer from July 8th through July 14th in Athens, Ga. on the university campus. During the week-long experience, PCSI students will reside on campus, receive education in the core areas of public health, and learn how to achieve success in the university setting. Students will also enjoy fun extracurricular activities, make connections with other program participants, and become more acquainted with the UGA community. The program is offered free of charge. Only students who will be high school Seniors during the 2018-2019 school year are eligible. Click here for application information. Applications are due by Friday, May 11, 2018.

  • Camp Neuro Atlanta2017!

    Camp Cardiac & Camp Neuro, run by medical students in over 30 cities nationwide, are 1-week summer day camps open to high school students interested in exploring careers in medicine. With a focus on both education and real world experience, Camp Neuro provides students with a unique opportunity to learn directly from experts in both the medical and psychological fields. In addition, this 1-week summer day camp provides a foundation for healthy living with an emphasis on both diet and exercise. Although Camp Neuro's primary focus is on care and maintenance of the brain as well as psychology, it provides an excellent starting point for careers in all fields of medicine.

    Are you interested in Business, Marketing, Culinary Arts, Hotel/Lodging Management or Event Planning? You are a student that would be interested in the Hospitality Careers Academy! The Academy is a terrific summer opportunity for students that are interested in a career in hospitality and tourism.
