The face of Career and Technical Education (CTE) has changed, and Fayette County's CTE Programs give students the competitive advantage needed for college acceptance and/or entrance into the workforce.
With a choice of multiple career pathways and the opportunity to participate in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), students have the opportunity to explore their career interest and attain the knowledge and abilities that businesses and industries desire for high-demand, high-skilled, high-wage occupations.
Check out this electronic dashboard that provides earning information for college graduates one year and five years after graduation. Information can be viewed by degree type, major, college, or any combination of those choices.
Fayette County Public Schools is in the process of selecting new curriculum resources for grades K-12 health and physical education. To make the process as transparent as possible, a website specifically for the new textbook adoption has been set up at http://bit.ly/FayetteHPEAdoption. On the site, the public can view meeting dates of the committee, meeting agendas and minutes, a list of textbooks to be reviewed by the committee, and an adoption timeline.
Registration Opens January 21 for Pre-K Program: Parents of students who will be eligible to attend the Fayette County Public School System’s state funded Pre-K program for the 2020-21 school year can register their children for a lottery drawing beginning January 21. Online payment functionality should be restored by Friday, January 31 and this notice will be removed once the upgrade is complete. Thank you for your patience!
