With band competition season in session, the Fayette County Marching Tigers are in no rush to slow down their winning streak.
The Marching Tigers received the highest scores of the White Columns Invitational at Milton High School, and were named Grand Champions.
In the 4A Class competition, the band received superior ratings and placed first in all captions, including band, drum majors, color guard, and musical performance. Also, they received the highest scores of the competition in visual performance, overall effect, drum majors, and color guard.
This is the band’s second grand championship title of the season under the direction of Dr. Myra Rhoden and J. Andrew McMillen.
The show, titled “Flourish,” featured the music of George Gershwin.
