The McIntosh High School girls’ varsity volleyball team just wrapped up their best year ever.
They ended their season with the best record in the school’s history, 31 wins and three losses.
They defeated powerhouses such as Columbus High, Whitewater High, and Starr’s Mill High to land themselves in the state tournament where they beat another tough team, Buford High, to claim the state volleyball championship.
The team’s head coach is Wendy Mabon; assistant coaches are Kelly Lewis and Courtney Vieira. The team is managed by Kyle Pratt.
Team members are Brianna Becerra, Lynsey Hamblin, Olivia Stewart, Blaise deGolian, Jessie Doyal, Ngozi Iloh, Erykah Lovett, Reagan Corley, Casey Raschen, Jonna Knight, Caroline Cameron, Finn Millians, Claire Lewis, and Kendall Moor.
