Students Lunch with Superintendent

A total of eight lucky students got to have a special lunch with Fayette County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Joseph Barrow at the end of the school year.Students Lunch with Superintendent

Inman Elementary students Carter McClendon, Ryan Daniel, Joseph Braxton, Olivia Alberts, Emily Athey, Tanner Richards, Alaina Alberts, and Elena Athey enjoyed talking to Barrow about various topics such as their new Chromebooks, interactive classroom boards, and summer vacation plans. School principal Dr. Louis Robinson also joined the special luncheon that was held at the school.

“We really appreciate Dr. Barrow taking the time from his busy schedule to spend some of it with our kids. They all loved having the time to share with the gentleman they understood to be ‘like the president of schools,’” says parent Sara Van Etten.

Some of the students having lunch with Barrow and Robinson won the opportunity by being the highest bidders at the school’s Spring Fling Silent Auction, and others were BETA club members.
