Teachers Receive EMC Grants for “Bright Ideas”

Over $13,680 in Bright Ideas grants have been awarded to teachers in Fayette’s public elementary, middle and high schools so that they can implement special programs and projects not covered in their schools’ budgets.Teachers Receive EMC Grants for “Bright Ideas”

The Coweta-Fayette EMC awarded a total of 13 grants to 14 teachers across the county for their innovative classroom ideas. Grant amounts ranged from over $340 to nearly $1,500.

The following teachers received grants for 2018: Ellen Mitchell, Braelinn Elementary; John Calvin Maddox, Jr., Cleveland Elementary; Jonathan James Burns, Huddleston Elementary; Susan Sanders, Huddleston Elementary; Michael A. Fairbanks, J.C. Booth Middle; Patricia R. Lee, Kedron Elementary; Kelly McMahon, McIntosh High; Grace Cannon, McIntosh High; Michelle Cole-Spence, Oak Grove Elementary and Peeples Elementary; Brooke Noelle Fuller, Oak Grove Elementary; JoAnn Rouse and Eric Todd, Rising Starr Middle; Kelly Rock, Starr’s Mill High; and Savahna Silvas, Starr’s Mill High.
