Publix donates another $25K to Fayette schools

The generosity of Publix Supermarket and its dedicated shoppers is shining through again. After donating over $33,000 to Fayette County Public Schools this summer, Publix made another donation of $25,027.56 to help our schools purchase supplies for their classrooms or individual families.

The funds were raised through donations from customers and Publix associates as part of their “Tools for Back-to-School” campaign to benefit students and teachers in the areas Publix serves. The funds received were divided among all 25 schools, totaling just over $1,000 per school.

The gift cards have already been put to good use, like at Peachtree City Elementary where they purchased supplies for tasty activities like Oreo moon phase calendars and marshmallow package engineering.
