Sandy Creek is calling on the community to cheer on the Patriots as they take aim at a state football crown. On Saturday, December 10, Sandy Creek plays the Cedar Grove Saints for the Class AAA GHSA State Football Championship.
The Patriots are back in the championship game for the first time since 2012 when they won their third title in four seasons.
The state championship game is set for Saturday, December 10 at noon at Center Parc Stadium (formerly Turner Field). Game tickets are available through gofan.co, and parking can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Clear bags only!
Sandy Creek is also selling commemorative shirts for the game for $22. Pick up for all shirts will be available on Thursday and Friday of this week in the SCHS auditorium lobby from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. each day.
