They weren’t quite castles for the young Kedron Knights, but students in Kristen Martin’s 3rd grade class made their own safe spots to read on Fort Day.
With the school year winding down, it was a way to inject a little fun into learning. To keep students on-task and engaged, the class had different theme days as the calendar wound down, and one of them was Fort Day. With a flashlight and a cozy spot under their desks, the young Knights couldn’t wait to dive into a good book.
