In coordination with state and local child welfare agencies, Fayette County Public Schools maintains the identification and implementation requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) provisions for students living in foster care. To ensure educational stability, the system annually prepares and follows a Foster Care Transportation Plan.
